The Double “D” is prepared at 1321

Sunday, November 23rd, 2008

Tonight, the majority of the members decide to put together an early Thanksgiving dinner for the department, but RTFD style. The “Dysfunctional Dinner” was prepared with turkey, potatoes and home style cooked pies. How the “dysfunctional” comes into the picture, is how the turkeys where cooked….garbage can style! A very unique and interesting way, but very golden brown and juicy: the perfect poultry. After the dinner was prepared and all the food was taken in, belts came unloose and some of the membership took in some movies while they lounged away the remaining evening. The RTFD would like to thank everyone who prepared this outstanding meal. Next will be the “DCD” (Dysfunctional Christmas Dinner)

The RTFD wishes everyone a safe and Happy Thanksgiving

Sidney Crosby makes a visit to 1321

Sunday, November 16th, 2008

Tonight as the south side was pretty quiet while the north side rang with tones throughout the day and into the evening a handful of members decided to pickup a game of hockey. With a little rearranging of equipment, we made it possible to have a small ice rink set up inside the firehouse. Shots where taken from the “blue line”, gloves where thrown down and the famous slap shot was made by the Richland Red Wings. All members who thought they had a wrist shot where denied by goalie Sgt. Mike “Fleury” Suckenik. He shoots and scores!!
