Every week on Tuesday evening, fifty two weeks out of the year, the RTFD holds an in house training program. This training program has never missed a beat from years past and to this date, it’s still going very strong. This particular night proved that this program will stay strong for years to come. “Ropes and Knot’s” was the agenda for the evening as members split into two groups to review and discuss the works of the operation. A overwhelming attendance was witnessed with well over forty members who came to train between the RTFD and Geistown Fire Department. This shows that the two departments are working very well together since the consolidation talks have begun these past months. We would like to thank our very own; Lieut. Haberkorn and Rope Guru: Bob Buck who taught this evenings class.
